My, how time slips away. Spring is here and we are hoping to have a good Summer break. 

Eastern Bible is looking forward to the Commencement Ceremony, Sunday, June 7th at 4:00 PM. Students will be awarded for their hard work and long hours of study. We congratulate each of them.

Our theme for this school year has been: Focused. Faithful and Fearless based on  2 Timothy 1:7 –“ For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 

Apostle Paul was charging his son in the Gospel. Timothy, with three things in reference to ministry. He was reminding Timothy that he had laid hands on him 

So he should:

• Stir up the gift of God that was in him
• Not be Fearful
• Not be ashamed of the Testimony of the Lord, nor of his prisoner, but rather be a partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God.

I encourage everyone who decides to do structured study of the word of God to be prepared for attacks from the enemy because he does not want us to be victorious, but “ greater is He that is within us than he that is in the world.”

Satan want us to be Fearful and intimidated, but the Word of God will fortify us.

We have to stay focused and be faithful.
